Detalles del acueducto El Cuchillo II, la obra que promete salvar a Monterrey

El 13 de agosto el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, visitó la zona donde se construirá el acueducto El Chuchillo II, que llevará agua de la presa El Cuchillo a Monterrey con el objetivo de resolver la situación de sequía en la zona.

“Es una obra prioritaria que consideramos de seguridad nacional, de urgencia; por lo mismo vamos a ahorrar mucho tiempo en trámites burocráticos que son los que muchas veces retrasan las obras” mencionó durante la conferencia de prensa del 14 de agosto.

¿Quiénes lo construyen? De acuerdo con el sitio Conagua, la obra del acueducto el Cuchillo está a cargo de los servicios de Agua y Drenaje Monterrey. La obra tendrá un diámetro de 2.13 metros y una longitud de 100 kilómetros, cinco estaciones de bombeo y una carga de bombeo de 350 metros, según los datos del sitio LópezObrador.org. La inversión de este proyecto se estima que es de 10 mil millones de pesos, de los cuales la federación aportará el 50% y el gobierno de Nuevo León el otro 50%. De acuerdo con el presidente, esta obra no representa deuda adicional y se hará a partir de una aportación que localizó el Banco Nacional de Obras y servicios Públicos (Banobras). Durante la conferencia de prensa del 14 de agosto, el mandatario mencionó que se creará un comité que definirán las asignaciones de contratos en este proyecto, “se elegirán las mejores propuestas en las próximas licitaciones: el director general de la Comisión Nacional de Agua, Germán Martínez Santoyo, representante del gobierno estatal y uno más de Caintra, organismo empresarial de nuevo León”.
